about

On Sentiment/Sediment:
There's a Sci-Fi marriage between struggle and perseverance throughout these songs, a sense of awe borne from strife in the face of all that remains uncertain. A story reveals itself, one open to interpretation yet governed by form and a desire to understand. The jubilant Surface, the eerie mystery of Syncope, the barren dismay of Wavering, the trippy onslaught of Procession, the quirky curiosity of Temporal, the deadly drive of Fabrication, the dreamy devastation of Antiquated, and the reticent resolve of Out Of... Certain emotions can only be conveyed through the alternate dimension of the synthesizer. It has a particular appeal, an embodiment of our reality while distinctly separate from it. -Jarod Facknitz
